Accessibility
We want this site to work for everyone who visits it, and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we’ve done
- Text and controls meet AA contrast, and the main text colours meet AAA.
- Everything works with a keyboard, focus is always visible, and there’s a link at the top of each page to skip straight to the content.
- Buttons, links and form fields are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- The game footage is silent, has a pause button, and doesn’t play at all if your device is set to reduce motion. Nothing else on the site moves on its own.
- Photos and artwork have text descriptions. The cut-out characters used as decoration are hidden from screen readers, because they don’t say anything the text doesn’t.
- Pages are built with proper headings and landmarks, and still work with styles or scripts switched off.
- Text can be resized to 200 percent, and the layout reflows down to a 320 pixel wide screen without scrolling sideways.
What isn’t right yet
- The prototype trailer on the press page has no captions or audio description. It shows the game as it was in 2025 and will be replaced.
- The two short clips in the co-development gallery are silent and have no audio description. The written description beside each covers what they show.
- The team’s profiles link to portfolio sites we don’t run, and we can’t vouch for how accessible those are.
